The Hemsley Fraser sales team is actually made up of several teams, dedicated to developing learning solutions relevant to your needs. Whether you are after a complex multi-component learning solution or a single open training course they are happy to talk through your requirements.


Clare Beatty - Client Services Manager

Clare Beatty

Clare joined Hemsley Fraser and the Client Services team in 1998 and during her time with the company has gained a wealth of experience of both the open and customised learning business.

Clare has a background in European business and languages, having graduated from University in 1995 with a degree in European Business and French and spending an additional two years working and studying in France.

She is well known for her collaborative approach to projects across the organisation and has dedicated a large amount of time to developing and refining core processes for our international, complex and large scale contracts. Clare has had an active role in building up many successful partnerships with a wide range of clients and sees identifying any opportunities to add value to the service being provided as a vital part of her role.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and young family, walking on the moors and cooking for friends.


Damian Briggs - Business Development Consultant

Damian Briggs is a relatively new member of the Hemsley Fraser team joining as a Business Development Consultant early 2007. Also a graduate in Business Information Management Systems, Damian's experiences span from Project Management at HP, to Senior Recruitment consultant for a national organisation based in the Plymouth branch. During this latter employment, he was awarded Sales Person of the Year for 2006.

Damian prefers a consultative approach and is driven by end results, a trait he developed from his time as a project manager. His aim is to establish successful long-term relationships with his clients.

Damian is also a keen footballer, although his enthusiasm far outweighs his ability, and enjoys watching all manner of sports when he is not playing bass guitar in his local - very popular - band.


Sarah Fear - Client Services Manager

Sarah has been with Hemsley Fraser since November 2004 and is a focussed member of the Client Services Management team.

Sarah uses her drive and readiness to challenge to manage the implementation and integration of new business into the Managed Services team by project management methodologies, whilst continuing to maintain high standards and continuous improvement of the support to existing business.

Having a client facing background within large organisations such as Lexmark International and Forte Hotels alongside extensive knowledge of administration support, business development and marketing, Sarah is able to apply her skills to building partnerships with all clients that she works with and analysing their strategic objectives to ensure a harmonised approach.

Sarahs commitment to excellence means that she runs a highly efficient and motivated team ensuring a high class support service to clients.

When not working, Sarah enjoys reading, travelling and walking her dog.


Mike Goswell - Senior Account Manager

Mike Goswell

Mike joined Hemsley Fraser in 1998 and has worked in a number of roles including Learning Consultant, Business Development Team Manager and currently as a Client Relationship Manager within the Field Sales team.

Following a degree in modern languages and linguistics, Mike spent time in Japan working for the Ministry of Education, before going on to work in the corporate planning department within the Japan Airlines group. Mike gained contract management, project management and quality control experience, which have all been invaluable in his roles at Hemsley Fraser.

Mike enjoys working with clients to understand their needs and to identify learning methods and solutions that will make a positive difference to their business. Mike is always keen to find new and innovative ways of making the learning experience challenging and fun.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys travelling and experiencing other cultures. He takes every opportunity to visit and explore other countries with his Japanese wife and family.


Mike Griffiths - Strategic Account Director

Mike is a highly experienced consultant and relationship director, with a background in change management, first line and middle management development for multi-national organisations. Mike's style is motivational, collaborative and challenging, and clients appreciate his constructive feedback, enabling them to improve individual, team and organisational performance.

Working closely with his strategic clients, Mike is adept at identifying and understanding key strategic challenges and creating learning solutions to support the business at a local and international level.

Mike holds a Masters degree and has spent over 10 years in the learning and development arena working with clients from the financial services, media and aerospace sectors.

Away from work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys and where possible playing as much golf as time allows. Mike has also completed three marathons, in London, New York and Dublin.


Marc Hutchings - Strategic Account Director

Following an early career in publishing and advertising Marc joined Hemsley Fraser at its inception in 1991. Initially involved in course production and operations roles Marc moved into a direct customer relationship position 10 years ago and is now one of the Strategic Account Director team.

Marc has worked with customers on a range of different projects from one off coaching assignments to multi modular development programmes aimed at target audiences of more than 2,000. He has a particular interest in finding simple solutions that enable the full Hemsley Fraser capability to be brought to play on a customers learning and development challenges.

Marc has worked on projects involving delivery throughout the UK and in more than 12 countries around the world. He has considerable experience of working with customers from the financial services industry but has also worked with professional firms, local and national government organisations, major FMCG companies and a variety of small and medium sized enterprises.

Away from work Marc still maintains he was a rugby player and enjoys trying to play golf, when allowed by his young and growing family.


Claire ODonnell - Client Services Manager

Claire has been with Hemsley Fraser since October 1994 and brings a wealth of Hemsley Fraser experience to the Client Services Management team.

Claire joined Hemsley Fraser at the tender age of 20 and at a time when everyone did a bit of everything! Through the early years, Claire gained much hands-on experience of various areas but in particular, the In-Company side of the business. She played a key role in introducing defined processes and streamlining the way people work and sharing best-practice. This was quickly identified as a strength for Claire and her experience has been used many times over the years with different clients. Claire plays a key role in the business analysis and meticulously collates, monitors and reports on revenue across the Client Services team. Her attention to detail and commitment to quality and excellence is something that is passed to her motivated team.

Prior to Hemsley Fraser, Claire gained her strong and focussed customer approach in a BT call centre.

Outside of Hemsley Fraser, Claire is kept busy with her young son whose social life often takes more organising than her own!!


Tina Poulson - Client Services Manager

Tina has been with Hemsley Fraser since November 2004 and has a reputation for her passionate attention to detail.

Responsible for the open course division of the business, along with the scoping and implementation of complex process applications and administration processes to support that function. These processes are supported by a highly professional and motivated team ensuring a high class support service to our clients to guarantee both a quality training event and an ongoing relationship.

Prior to joining us, Tina left an extensive and successful management career with the John Lewis Partnership to live the dream and spend three years working overseas, making peoples holiday dreams come alive with a large multi national tourism company. The focus throughout her career has been the holistic client experience.

Outside of work, Tina enjoys an active lifestyle including sailing, along with the compulsory gin and tonic!
