A 'Brilliant' event!

Over 120 delegates gathered last week for our sell-out secretarial and PA conference at the National Theatre. With a theme of 'Being Brilliant', the day was kicked off by lead trainer Jean Sutcliffe, who explored the ways that you can work even more efficiently with your boss and how we all need to adapt to our bosses personal styles if we're to become truly indispensable!
After a break for coffee, Alison Cowper then held a session focussing on telephone techniques to deal with difficult customers, during which delegates debated the techniques that they use to defuse awkward situations and help keep customers satisfied.
After lunch, Jean returned to look at how applying fundamental project management techniques can help you plan a brilliant event, and the day was wrapped up in flamboyant style by Ian Caldecourt who's high temp Body Language session left us all reflecting on just how we may be coming across to other people!
