The 'Emerging Leaders in Training Outsourcing’ list includes recognised industry leaders that have demonstrated innovation and excellence in providing learning outsourcing services in selected business process categories and are poised to increase their level of services to clients.
The evaluation criteria included corporate competencies in the 22 business processes identified in the Training Process Framework. Training Outsourcing also looked at the strength of each outsourcing service provider (OSP) in reference to 13 business capabilities areas:
- Experience in managing multi-year training business process outsourcing (BPO) engagements
- Recognition as a leading outsourcing service provider (OSP) in the training industry
- Capability to deliver multiple BPO training services
- Revenue generated from training BPO services
- Potential for growth in training BPO services
- Analytics and evaluation methods applied to training BPO services
- Strength of clients
- Demonstrated strategic alignment of training BPO services with client business goals
- Geographic reach
- Impact on the training BPO industry
- Talent of corporate leadership and professional staff
- Breadth of resources
- Commitment to the training BPO industry
Training Outsourcing also considered each organisation's use of best practices especially relating to the application of learning analytics and strategic alignment of training with clients' business goals. They looked at the marketing strategy of each company to determine if training outsourcing was considered to be a core service in their business model.
