Workshop 2: Written Communication that Works

In the typical 21st century workplace, we communicate mainly by writing.
We sit behind our computer screens and email colleagues who sit a few desks away! The tone of emails can be misinterpreted, relationships destroyed, and all because we did not take the time and effort to word our emails carefully.
This session guides you easily through tips on style, grammar, punctuation and tone. Simple planning models will enable you to write emails, letters and reports more quickly, freeing up your time for other things.
This session will cover:
- Am I writing in Plain English?
- Do I make mistakes that affect my professional image?
- Choosing an appropriate tone
- Reducing the time it takes to write emails and letters
- Planning and structuring reports.
Workshop 3: Dealing with Difficult People & Situations
