Overview
Course duration: 1 day.
This course is run in partnership with JSB
Law on the Road is JSB's bi-annual employment law update that provides comprehensive coverage of the latest changes and developments in employment legislation.
The workshops run each November and April in ten cities around the UK, providing convenient access to employment law expertise.
2011 is proving to be a year of considerable change in employment law. This October will see both the changes to the Default Retirement Age (DRA) come into effect as well as the implementation of the new Agency Worker Regulations both hugely important developments. The Bribery Act has been in force since July 1 and requires all organisations to have adequate procedures in place, whilst The Equality Act demands continued attention.
The Coalition Government has many more employment law reforms coming into force soon or in the pipeline, including flexible parental leave, changes to business transfers, and amendments to the Working Time Regulations. This November's Law on the Road workshops will focus on all these developments and much more.
There has never been a more important time to ensure youre fully up to date on the latest employment legislation - reserve your place on your local employment law update workshop to benefit from crystal clear insights that relate the legislation to practical management implications.
