Broadfern is the UK’s leading energy consultancy and negotiates electricity and gas contracts on behalf of major energy users. Together with sister company EIC, Broadfern manages a portfolio of 1,200 clients including 40% of the FTSE 100. Broadfern appointed Hemsley Fraser to design and deliver challenging, engaging and interactive training programmes to develop the commercial awareness and account management skills of teams across the business.

The development of a successful working partnership has been possible because both companies share the belief that respect, teamwork, commitment, enthusiasm and fun are values that bring out the best from a team.

Hemsley Fraser developed a range of bespoke courses which are delivered in-house at the Broadfern training facilities. Courses focus on personal, team and management development that enables employees to gain confidence and to develop their skills. Tailored training programmes focusing on managing key accounts, negotiation and interpersonal effectiveness have been delivered to client-facing team members. Hemsley Fraser is currently developing ‘Espresso learning sessions’ for Broadfern and EIC. These are 90 minute, bite size courses, which will focus on core skills.
