We carry out regular training needs analysis for all of our advisers. Areas highlighted included the need to get around gatekeepers and how to successfully run exhibitions.
The Solution - working with Hemsley Fraser
We worked in partnership with Hemsley Fraser to devise programmes to meet our advisers needs. The Handling Gatekeepers Effectively programme covered pre-call planning, creating the right first impression, building rapport and listening effectively. For the Running Successful Exhibitions programme, delegates were taught how to set specific goals, capture the attention of the target audience, maintain motivation and communicate effectively.
The Client Experience
The Hemsley Frasers learning consultant brought credibility, knowledge and addressed the different learning styles of the delegates. The tools and techniques taught were well demonstrated and relevant. Everyone went away from the training with practical solutions. The training style was energetic and enthusiastic and full of meaningful anecdotes that assisted the learning process.
The Result
The delegates now have tried and tested scripts to work in a variety of situations in order to get around gatekeepers and they have reported more successes than before the training.
Delegates are now running exhibitions and shows on a more regular basis and are structuring their exhibitions days and their scripts more successfully. Delegates from the programme were the most successful at generating leads at the Ideal Home Show. The results after the event showed that all delegates had definitely benefited from the programme.
