Leadership development is a key initiative for the business. The Diploma programme syllabus matched Arco's current need to develop its middle managers and potential leaders for the future with a particular focus on people management skills. We were particularly keen to have an accredited programme with a professional qualification.
The Solution - working with Hemsley Fraser
The programme was designed to meet the needs of managers wishing to acquire the necessary skills to develop their careers. It covered 8 modules mirroring the 8 units of the CMI programme but was customised to reflect the values, culture and typical scenarios at Arco. Each delegate was asked to complete an assignment following each module and a final work based project.
The Client Experience
The delegates felt that they were fully involved during the modules and were able to contribute throughout. Many felt that the report writing, presentation skills, managing change and risk assessment were of the most benefit.
