Congratulations you have gained the foundation level Praxis Framework qualification. This event will now enable you to demonstrate a deeper understanding of Praxis Framework and apply the tools and techniques to work successfully in a P3M (Projects, Programmes, and Portfolios) Managerial environment.
The Praxis Practitioner course builds on the understanding developed at Foundation level, providing you with the knowledge to apply and tailor Praxis to your organisation’s projects and programmes.
By the end of this course, candidates should be able to apply and understand how to tailor Praxis effectively within the P3M (Projects, Programmes, and Portfolios) Managerial environment within an organisational environment based on Praxis Framework. Specifically candidates should:
- Understand the relationships between the roles, documents, functions, techniques and processes.
- Be able to apply the roles, functions, techniques and processes to a P3M scenario.
- Be able to create and assess P3M documents for a given scenario.
Delegates are required to have a copy of the Praxis Framework Text. Delegates must bring this book with them to the course as this is the basis for the course as well as the Practitioner Exam.
Ideally delegates will have read this text, as they must be conversant with the entire book.
The purpose of the Practitioner qualification is to confirm whether the candidate has achieved sufficient understanding of how to apply and tailor Praxis in a scenario situation. A successful Practitioner candidate should, with suitable direction, be able to start applying the framework to a real project or programme, but may not be sufficiently skilled to do this appropriately for all situations. Their individual P3M expertise, complexity of the project or programme and the support provided for the use of Praxis in their work environment will all be factors that impact what the Practitioner can achieve.
