In order to achieve the best results, we need to be able to tap into the wisdom of others. We can only do that by listening to what they say. Listening effectively is something that is easy to describe, but hard to do. Not listening effectively leads to wasted time, poor results and unproductive meetings.
In this session, the objectives are:
- Identify what is involved in listening effectively
- Describe the differences between empathy and sympathy
- Use listening skills to learn about others' perspectives
- Identify listening actions that you will put to use TODAY
